Sharon fruit is a variety of Persimmon native to Israel. Unlike other varieties of Persimmons, the Sharon fruit is always ready to eat. It is seedless and wonderfully sweet even when it is still firm.
Our Persimmons are air-flown directly from farms in Israel. We hand-pick the largest fruits from the harvest. Only those that are graded as premium makes it into our selection.
A Sharon fruit has almost twice the amount of fiber in an apple. They are also rich in minerals, such as sodium, magnesium, calcium and iron. They are widely regarded for their high level of beta-carotene, found in both the skin and flesh, making them a great source of vitamins A and C.
This bundle has 2 boxes of Sharon Fruit, a special variety of Persimmon from Israel. Each box comes with 12-16 fruits and weighs on average 2.2kg/box.
Sharon fruits can be eaten at any time, whether the fruit is hard or soft – it’s simply a question of personal taste. When the fruit is soft, it is ripe. Ripe Sharon fruits can be stored in the refrigerator. If you prefer to eat the fruit when it is soft, allow the firm fruit to ripen at room temperature.
Delivery starts on 11 Nov. While stocks last!
